Drawing as Part of the Writing Process: First Attempts:  Developing Critical Thinking and Writing Skills Using Students's Drawing


This workshop will focus on the relationship between students's drawing and their thinking, talking, reading, and writing skills.  We will discuss why drawing is important and effective for all age groups.

Audience: Content will be of particular interest to Primary level teachers but all grade levels are welcome

Presenter: Marcy Rudge

Brief Bio: Marcy Rudge is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Vinton School in Mansfield. She provides a supportive environmant and instills such confidence that most of her Kindergarten students leave feeling that they are writers.
